Lindsay Staker has been involved in healthcare for over 15 years and has a deep desire to improve the health and well-being of the community through holistic health and natural medicine. Lindsay has prior training and experience as a midwife and birth & postpartum doula. Therefore she has a strong interest and specialized training in women's health, conception, pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery. In addition being the owner and acupuncturist at Quan Yin Acupuncture Lindsay has also provided acupuncture services with Abundant Spring fertility acupuncture to patients undergoing IVF and other fertility procedures at the Northwest Center for Reproductive Sciences in Kirkland. Lindsay also currently treats patients struggling with addictions, mental & emotional disorders and eating disorders at The Center in Edmonds.
Lindsay graduated from Bastyr University obtaining her Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is licensed in the state of Washington and is NCCAOM board certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She believes that the most effective path to obtaining health and balance is through treating the whole person addressing the physical, emotional and spiritual levels of disharmony.
Lindsay gained a variety of experience in her acupuncture and Chinese herbal clinical training treating patients with specific medical needs and in a number of clinical settings, including: HIV & AIDS, under-served & ethnic populations, chronic fatigue & fibromyalgia, geriatrics, patients with special physical needs, addictions and women's health & fertility issues. Lindsay also holds certification through NADA as a drug and alcohol detoxification specialist.
Shelly helps improve the health and well being of the community through her enthusiasm, knowledge, and wide array of experience. Shelly enjoys catering to patients seeking relief for pain, stress, and fatigue and is well practiced in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Furthermore, her additional healthcare experience as a massage therapist over the past five years has given her specialized expertise in stress and pain relief.
Shelly graduated from Bastyr University obtaining her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Shelly also graduated from Cortiva Institute Brenneke School of Massage in 2006 and is currently licensed in the state of Washington as a massage therapist.

Shelly traveled to Shanghai, China in the Fall of 2009 to fulfill an Oriental medicine externship at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It was there that she obtained her certificate in Traditional Chinese Medicine Gynecology and Internal Medicine.
Shelly encourages her patients to become a part of their own healing process to bring a balance between their physical, emotional and spiritual selves. She educates her patients about health issues, health care options and life style choices. She believes that instructing patients about their own health can empower them to live healthier lives.
